Influenza A (H1N1) Notice [October,6]

Information about Clousure a Public Elementary School in city against to cases of Influenza A (H1N1)

On October 1st, Koka City proved 3 students in Yamauchi Elementary School were infected for the Influenza A. Today (at noon of October 2nd); 2 more,in a total of 5 students infected, and there are 2 more with symptoms such as fever.

This is why, Koka City declared the condition as a mass infection of the virus, so in today`s evening (October 2nd) the school made all the students go back home to prevent the spread of infection, and we inform you the 4-day school closure from 3rd (Sat) to 6th (Tue).

List of students confirmed Influenza A (H1N1)

- 2nd Grade Boy: 1 case

- 3rd Grade Boys: 3 cases

- 5th Grade Boy: 1 case

Total: 5 persons

Fever / Others (excluding above list)

At noon of October 2nd (Fri):

Students with fever 2 cases ( 2nd Grade: 1 case, 4th Grade: 1 case)

Closure Period

4 days from October 3rd, 2009 ( Sat) to October 6th, 2009 (Tue)
