With a collection valued at several hundred million US Dollars, the Miho Museum is one of the most prominent privately owned museums in Japan. The curator of the museum is Tsuji Nobuo, emeritus professor of Tokyo University, and the architecture of the facility was designed by renowned architect I.M. Pei.
